How the Proper picnic came to be
The Proper Picnic started off as a crazy idea I had in September 2020. I had just started my full-time job remotely, but I felt unfufilled. I was seeing these pop-up picnics showing up here and there around the country. I was so intrigued with the idea and the beautiful picnic scapes captured my heart. I light-heartedly brought it up to my boyfriend, Brandon, thinking he would immediately shoot it down, but he didn't. In fact, he was interested and thought we could definitely make it come to life.

So we did! We picked out a name, started brainstorming ideas, and fully devoted ourselves to making this happen. Along the way we have hit a few roadbumps and encountered some doubts, but here we are now!

I am so proud of this small business we have created in such a short time. We are also the 1st Luxury Picnic Service in South Jersey!

Since then, I have taken full ownership of the company. Don't worry Brandon is still my right-hand man he just stepped down from his title. He is still always there to help me with any questions I have and of course works alongside me for picnic set-ups.
